It's wickedly hot today...stayed in, did some prep work for a plastic canvas project for my class at the senior center ...and made some ricotta cheese from scratch.  More on that soon...

Silicate Bead Charm Bracelets

Here are two new bracelets I've added to my Artfire Studio  http://clairemdesigns.artfire.com/.   They are made of silicate beads with vibrant colors of red, yellow, blue and orange.  Great for summer !!

Craft Tip of the Day

When a bead board is not available, a rectangle of felt or fleece works almost as well.  A 9"x12" piece is usually enough.  It's also great when you are working with a group of beaders and bead boards are too expensive to make available to everyone.
